May 18th through the 24th is National Public Works Week.
Ever stop to think about those guys who work to keep us in water that's fit to drink and roads that are fit to drive on? Public works employees are the people who thaw our water line freeze-ups and clear our roads throughout our harsh winters.
And they do more than keep our water flowing and our streets clean. They work in severe weather to serve our neighborhoods. They work in dangerous conditions to keep us safe.
In observance of National Public Works Week, Norway Public Utilities commends and gives thanks to the men who make up our City's Department of Public Works, and their commitment to providing reliable service to Greater Norway’s households and businesses.
If you would like to show your appreciation for the excellent job that DPW does, there are several ways to do so. Mail communications to 1000 Saginaw, Norway, MI 49870; send a message via email to utilityclerk@norwaymi.gov; or, call (906) 563-9641, extension 501, to have your name added to a list of people who want to give a shout out to our City’s public works employees.
