Summer 2013 Sewer Credit Application
The sewer credit is for City customers with sewer & water service active on their utility bill.  The sewer credit is based on their average usage from Sept-May.  Example if someone’s average is 3,000 gallons and they use 6,000 gallons in June, they will be billed 6,000 on water and 3,000 on sewer.  The credit is given only for the months of June, July & August.

Our local harbinger of spring . . . the Norway Spring is on and open to the public! It's been tested as being one of the best tasting, clear, free-flowing waters in the state, and is located just west of Norway on Highway 2. Just bring your jugs to fill up.
ORV's in the city limits
To operate an ORV in the city limits of Norway without a guardian you must be:
18 years old or possess a valid driver's license and ORV Safety Certificate. Violaters will be cited with fines and fees in excess of $100.

Riding adjacent to the railroad tracks is trespassing on railroad property and subject to charges.

Copies of the ordinance & maps are available at the Norway Police Department during regular office hours.

The City of Norway has our own internet service!   We have many options to choose from.  We have started providing our customers with the options between 3 different speeds, and email accounts. We are happy to provide our customers with these wonderful options.

The City of Norway has FREE professional installation of the internet services. 

 

You have three choices of internet(these all include a standard modem):

Silver package:             3 mbps down 512 kbps up

Gold package:              6 mbps down 768 kbps up

Platinum package:      10 mbps down 1 mbps up

 

The prices vary on these packages depending on whether you are a Residential or Commercial customer. 

Please download the Residential or Commercial applications for prices.  If you wish to order one of these packages, please fill out the Residential or Commercial applications and bring them down to City Hall.  We will be happy to set up an appointment to install your new internet connection in your home.

 

Note:  In order to receive these services wireless you must buy your own router.  The City does not provide you a router.  You can find these routers at any store that sells televisions, or internet equipment.
