Piers Gorge Rapids, Norway, MI
Piers Gorge is unique and is only two miles south of Norway off Hwy 8.
The vistas in all seasons are amazing. Water crashes endlessly through the narrowing rock. Gallons and gallons of rushing water. This beautiful area provides plenty of solitude, water, sun, wind, water, trees, rocks. There is more glory than your eyes can take in.
The rapids provide Class IV and V rapids at times. Similar to the large volume rapids in Colorado. Great whitewater rapids!
