Geographic Information System (GIS)

The Geographic Information System (GIS) is a web-based application that allows users to navigate, query, and report on spatial and non-spatial information, through the use of simple data queries, a pan/zoom interface, and other advanced GIS functions.  Information is viewable in map and database formats.

This internet map service uses high-resolution graphics and is designed for viewing over broadband internet connections.  Please be patient, as map images may take a while to load.  This site is best viewed with Internet Explorer 7.0+ and at a resolution of 1280 x 1040 or higher.

The GIS site is intended to be a general guide to property and land information, and does not represent a survey of real property, and should not be used or referred to for conveyance of real property, guaranteeing title, or making official determinations.  Contact the City Assessor to obtain original source documents or for official determinations.  This information has been developed from various sources, and although efforts have been made to ensure accuracy and reliability, errors and omissions inadvertently caused by compilation from several sources may be reflected herein.  Furthermore, land information is constantly changing, and the most current or accurate data might not yet be represented.  The information accessible through this site is presented “as is,” without either expressed, implied, or statutory warranty of any kind, including but not limited to the implied merchantability of, and/or fitness for, a particular purpose.  No guarantee is granted, nor is any responsibility for reliance assumed.  The user acquires the entire risk of deficiencies of information quality, reliability, and use of all information gathered.  The City of Norway does not accept any liability for damages, or misrepresentation of any kind, caused by inaccuracies in the information and in no event shall the City of Norway, its elected or appointed officials, or employees be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages of any kind.  By accessing and using this application you hereby understand and accept the terms of the above disclaimer.
